[ Because apparently this is a thing they're dealing with now. Vampires. It's a pragmatic question. One of them took down Angela, and she's the strongest fucker he knows. ]
There are several ways... sunlight, beheading, or a wooden stake to the heart are most efficient. They are also harmed by fire, crosses and holy water, and silver, though those things are unlikely to kill them.
I do wonder why you're asking this of me now, friend.
[ Beheading could work. He'll need a better weapon, through. Something like Hunter's axe, something that he can swing and know the impact will do something lasting. All he's got right now is a baton and a couple knives. Not good enough. ]
There are some here. Two that I know of. One I met calls himself Godric. Moves faster than anything I've ever seen, even with modifications.
[ He decides not to mention he picked a fight with said vampire, or that he was nearly blackout drunk when he did it. ]
The other's a woman. Hurt a friend of mine. So I'm thinking that's a problem.
[ It's strange to be calling people friends, now. Or hearing it thrown back it him, seemingly in all sincerely. But he's been thinking about that, mulling it over in his head. He likes spending time with Angela, with Gene. And that's what normal people do, isn't it? They have friends. So he can try that. Maybe he'll even mean it for a little, if he's careful to remember where the lines have been drawn. ]
That is indeed a problem. Vampires are savage creatures -- do you know if the latter was trying to feed? If our augmentations have not changed their biological imperatives we are all at risk.
This is all new for me, so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. But if I got myself a rifle, and someone who could make large caliber silver bullets, would that take a vampire's head off? Rather do it from a distance if I have to.
[ Silver bullets was always a werewolf thing in the movies he watched, but he'll take whatever he can get. ]
I assume you're still in one piece if you're messaging me rather than seeking medical attention, so I probably shouldn't need to ask this, but you are alright?
'As long as she's herself' implies she was not herself when she attacked you. What caused that, and is there a great likelihood it will happen again?
Thank you, Angela, it looks masterfully carved. And to think, I've nothing for you. Except perhaps a demonstration... I awoke to something interesting back in my possession, the other day.

We're at an understanding. As long as she's herself, she's not a threat.

I don't know. I didn't want to press my luck and ask what set her off. But there's drugged food and water setting off rage effects.
So. That warning on the network about gold eyes being danger holds true. So does the five minute contact cure.
no subject
No matter. One thing at a time.
What set her off is of vital importance, Angela. Vampires don't require food or water, she must have been drugged another way...

Let me know if you want to practice knives sometime. I've got some alcohol that needs drinking, too.

That said, I can be by shortly if you're home.

I'm surviving. I trust you're doing better than that?

What is it you're having cause to survive by so narrow an implied margin?
